What are the dates / times of this years Folk & Food Festival?
July 18th -July 27th 2025. Midday till late.
Most pop-up vendors will serve until 8pm, while some may serve till midnight, especially on weekends.
How much is a ticket to the enter the festival?
The Edinburgh Folk and Food Festival is a free-to-enter event, with some ticketed programmed events in the Piccolo and Palais du Variété venues.
Where can I buy tickets to the programmed events?
The best place to see the list of programmed events is in the “What’s on” section of the website. You can book by clicking through on the event there, or you can also book directly through Assembly Festival’s website or buy tickets on the day at the Assembly George Square Garden box office.
What is the price range of the programmed events?
Events / workshops / concert tickets will range from £5 to £28. The best way to see these individual prices is on our “What’s on” page.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Assembly George Square, The Piccolo and Palais du Variété are all accessible venues, though be aware as an outside space, the ground may be uneven. Designated accessible toilets are on site and Front of House staff are always ready to assist. For more access information please see Assembly’s access page.
Is the event dog friendly?
Yes, it is, as long as they stay on lead, and are off site by 8pm.
Can I use cash at the festival?
Edinburgh Folk & Food Festival and Assembly Festival are cashless events.
