Piccolo Kitchen brings live cooking demos, workshops & chef talks to Edinburgh Folk & Food Festival this summer - hosted by MasterChef finalist Sarah Rankin.

The highly anticipated Edinburgh Folk & Food Festival, is returning to George Square Gardens this summer from Friday 18 until Sunday 27 July, 2025. The brand-new Piccolo Kitchen is firing up and bringing food lovers alike a vibrant hub of flavour and fun, including live cooking demos, thought-provoking conversations, and flavour-packed workshops.
Hosted by Sarah Rankin: Familiar Faces & Fresh Ideas
MasterChef star, food author and broadcaster Sarah Rankin is set to host several conversations in the Piccolo Kitchen with a variety of recognisable faces from the Scottish food scene, including writer and presenter Rosie Morton, celebrated librarian and promoter of Scottish heritage Amina Shah, and speakers from both Edinburgh Food Social and Nourish Scotland, charities that work for a fairer, healthier and more sustainable food system in Scotland.
